Tired of Coffee Filters yet? Me neither.

I have been wanting to show off this little guy for a while, and couldn't until I was ready to give it to my Aunt, since I didn't want to give away the surprise!  Well, she's getting it tomorrow and I am *so* hoping she isn't reading this right now!

The Shabby-Chic glory of it all.
I know you've seen tons of coffee filter wreaths, so I won't bore you with too many how-to's...but I will say I incorporated both fabric and tissue paper in mine.  I cut squares of each and sheared the edges of both (and the coffee filters) with pinking shears.  Then I haphazardly hot-glued it all together--coffee-filter on the bottom, than ivory lining fabric, then white tissue paper.  I made about 25 little rosettes like that and glued them onto a straw wreath I had wrapped with more fabric.  I love hot-glue.

The close-up.  I just love this little gal.
Finally, I added a white ribbon which she can use or take off, whichever.

I'm so pretty!  I need a twin to live in That Mommy's house!
Hope she likes it!
