It does get very draining. But I love what you said about missing the time when they were little, b/c it motivates me to not wish this time away...thanks!Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15569345836078752499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6630680333888371481.post-46854552971316644122011-05-01T08:37:26.077-04:002011-05-01T08:37:26.077-04:00I like this post. HOWEVER, now that I read your post, I find myself missing (!) that special time with them. Crazy, I know. I always used to tell my husband, if I could do motherhood like a job, say 9-5, or even 8-6, or heck, I will settle for 7-7, if I could just have those other 12 hours for me to sleep (uninterrupted!) for 7 hours, go for a run, take a LONG shower, eat healthy, make myself look nice, read a newspaper or magazine for a couple minutes, etc (you get the idea), I would be such a better mommy.
It is the 24-hour-ness of the job that gets to me.
best,
MOVMOVhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00782183723607923501noreply@blogger.com
